When Airheads wanted to revise their tongue character for their latest campaign, they knew just who to call... So I worked with Creative Director Rob Foster to nail down the new look for the extreme flavor tongue. I went deep into the child-like recesses of my mind and recalled all of my favorite wrestlers from my early days... Hogan, Andre, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man. Classics. Then I turned them into tongues... what a weird and amazing project.

In the end the character looks a bit different than the versions I had created but some of the initial outfits and design exploration helped guide some of the final direction. The guys n gals absolutely killed it with the model, lighting, animation and compositing... looks absolutely incredible. Too fun!
